“Ladies will have an opportunity to bid on Kona’s most eligible bachelors. The men represented bring diversity in culture, age, careers and personality,” said APAC artistic director Jerry Tracy. “There is someone for everyone.”
Lee Vinson will preside as auctioneer for the bachelor auction on Saturday, April 14, at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu.
The winning bidders will receive “fabulous” date packages to include such items as gift certificates for dinner, jewelry, golf, kayak adventures, ziplining and more, said Tracy. “Proceeds from the event will benefit Aloha Performing Arts Co. in its mission to provide live theater and performing arts education opportunities to the West Hawaii community.
A $25 VIP ticket entitles the purchaser to an hour of mingling with the bachelors prior to the auction start, as well as light pupus, a complimentary drink and reserved seating. VIP tickets must be bought by Monday, April 9.
The VIP event will run from 6 to 7 p.m., with auction registration opening at 5:30 p.m. for VIP ticket holders.
